Course: How to Create Urgency for Change
Description: Making Change Happen - Building the Urgency for Change
Title: Making Change Happen, Building Urgency in a Changing World - A 6 Week Blended Program
Keypoints
This practical, evidence based program will equip HR managers and emerging leaders to build the case for change within Australian Organisations that need to fast track change. It's a 6 week hybrid learning schedule of facilitated online modules, one face to face workshop in week 3 (a hybrid delivery) and workplace application with support. The focus is on translating the theory of "urgency" into action, through diagnosing the current reality, creating compelling stories, clearing obstacles, achieving a series of noticeable successes and embedding communication rhythms. You can anticipate down to earth tools, real world role play demos, and instant job ready takeaways you can implement the week after each session.
Why this course (short, sharp)
Too many change programmes wither on the vine because there's no real sense of urgency to shift. Urgency isn't the same thing as panic; it's focused momentum. Units that treat urgency as something to be done once consume time and people. This is a course on how to make and keep urgency ethically, transparently, effectively. One key stat to keep in mind: Prosci's change management research tells us that projects using structured change methods are significantly more likely to come in on time and on budget, a handy ROI point for doing this the right way.
